Ready to change your life?

There is only one person who can change your life, and His name is JESUS!  You don’t have to be a theologian, or a scholar, or even a really good person to know God.  All that you have to do is put your faith in His Son – Jesus Christ.  It is pretty simple really.  God hates Sin.  Yes, I said the word SIN.  What is sin?  Sin is rebellion against God, which Adam did when he ate the fruit he was forbidden to eat.  So all of us are born with sin in us, because we came from Adam.  Romans 3:23 declares, “For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God”.  We have all fallen short of God’s Glory, His standard for living. God hates sin, but God loves people.  We are His creation made in His own image.

So God had a dilemma. The thing that God hated, sin, was inside the thing that God loved, people. So instead of getting rid of us, God did everything that He could to get rid of sin by sending Jesus, His own Son, to be the sacrifice for all sin. The Bible tells us that “God so loved the whole world that He GAVE His only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not parish but have eternal life.” God sent what He loved the most, His Son Jesus, to kill the thing that He hated most – SIN; so that we could have a relationship with God again through faith in Jesus. How awesome!

Dear Jesus – I need you in my life.  I believe that you came to earth and died on a cross for my sins.  You shed your blood so the curse could be broken.  Please come into my heart and forgive my sins, and cleans me from within.  Make your home in my heart and help me to live for you all the days of my life.  Fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I may serve you and know you better.  Thank you for saving me in Jesus name – AMEN!
